  I have delt with them personally and they are horrible. They are unorganized, never in the office to answer questions, late, and overall have changed what should have been a happy time buying a new house into a stressed, anxious, and anger filled experience. DO NOT USE THEM! I know MANY people that have gone through this, not just us!

  This has been by far the worst experience ever with buying a house. Our closing date has been extended twice now. The inspections have been done and everything but yet they keep coming to us the day or two before closing saying we need this paperwork and that paperwork. I guess a government leave and earning statement from the Army isn't enough, you have to prove who your allotments are going to and why. And your word saying one allotment goes to rent isn't good enough, they want 12 months history. Seriously? ?? That's fine, we can get that info to you but waiting until the day before closing is very unprofessional and lazy on their part. We have been in contract to buy a $47,000 house for 2 1/2 months now. This is absolutely crazy. My truck cost more then this house and I purchased my truck within 4 hours. NEVER again will we go through Wells Fargo.

  I've had other mortgages through Wells Fargo before and had great experiences so this review is for the Washington Road WF Mortgage office alone. Out of all my dealings with them, this particular location/experience was by far the worst. I'd agree with what Lisa posted previously - very unorganized, rarely in the office, and almost never call back or respond to emails. The lack of professionalism for a bank was quite surprising. I had to eventually resort to going to the office every time I had a question, and given that they waited so long to do anything with my paperwork there were several items in the few days just before closing that were "critical" to resolve by the next morning. The office had well over a month and a half to process paper work but appeared to wait until the week of closing to do more than a cursory glance at much of anything. For what I paid in closing costs, I expected far more than was delivered.
